Curls Understood the Academy is a virtual program taught by professional stylist and curl expert Paula Whitelocke of Curly Hair Designs. We are committed to creating opportunities for Stylists to expand on their curly, kinky, coily and wavy hair knowledge.

Paula has been in the industry for over 16 years and will continue to share her knowledge with whomever is ready to build their experiences around curl love , acceptance and appreciation.

The focus remains on the curl types, not the skin tones of the clients we serve.
